Overview
Hill Country Youth Ranch (HCYR) is seeking a passionate campus administrator for our Big Springs Ranch for Children campus (BSRC). BSRC is located 9 miles north of Leakey, Texas surrounding the headwaters of the Frio River.
HCYR is currently transitioning away from DFPS placements and developing a private placement program for families and children in need. BSRC program consists of 6 beautiful homes with a capacity to serve up to 36 children. BSRC is a HHSC licensed GRO- Multiple Services and holds several DFPS and SSCC contracts.
This is a tremendous opportunity for a visionary leader to lead the program into a new and exciting direction while maintaining its identity as part of the overall mission and calling of HCYR to provide a safe, loving, life-enhancing Christian environment for children and young adults.
To qualify for this position the ideal candidate must have a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) license from Texas, that is in good standing, or have the ability to obtain an LCCA license within a specified period of time.
The campus administrator will be responsible for program management, development, and administrative tasks that contribute to the overall success of the program.
Additional qualifications:
- Experience in program development and management within a non-profit or social service environment is preferred.
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Texas Child Care Regulations and DFPS minimum standards.
- Background in private placement work or related fields is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals in a trauma-informed care environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- Proven supervisory skills, demonstrating the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of the children we serve.

Candidates must:
- - Possess a valid Texas Driver license
- - Complete a Diana Screen®
- - Pass criminal background checks and drug screen
- - Have current TB (Tuberculosis screening) or obtain a new one
Educational requirements:
Minimum: Bachelors degree in human services or similar field
