Animal Care Assistant (TEMP)
Job Description
Job Summary
The animal care assistant will complete daily animal health check and animal room maintenance, including weekends, holiday break and winter/summer break. The duties of the assistant include, but not limited to record the temperature, humidity, ventilation pressure, animal health (per guideline), cage changing, cage washing, room cleaning, etc. The applicants must have completed the UM-AA ULAM required training. This position is funded by the NatSci department's "animal care assistant" funds.
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
Background Screening
