Job Description:
Provides strong leadership in developing campus-wide initiatives in programming, engagement, outreach, assessment, and leadership development while supporting the Director of Student Leadership and Engagement. Develops identity-based themed programming for students, including but not limited to: Black History Month, MLK Jr. Day, National Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBTQIA+ History Month, National Coming Out Day, World AIDS Day, National Women's History Month, Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, International Transgender Day of Visibility, Jewish American Heritage Month, Juneteenth, and National Native American Heritage Month. Develops programs to support student clubs and organizations and supports student engagement leaders.
Specific Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the field of Leadership, Social Justice, Education or related field and
- Six years of direct student affairs experience including student activity planning/coordination; leadership development, and student orientation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Able to provide support, timely feedback and clear communication to all staff.
- Cultural awareness and competency demonstrated by working with and/or understanding of individuals of diverse identities including ethnicity, race, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, and veterans' status as well as those with different levels of academic preparation, physical and learning abilities.
- Competent in MS Word, Outlook and social media communication.
- Demonstrated strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Salary: $32.64/hr. @ 18.5/hrs. week (non-benefited position)
