This position will serve as a part time instructor in the Continuing Education department at Odessa College. The Microsoft Excel Instructor will deliver training programs on Excel functions and features, creating lesson plans and materials, assessing students’ progress, providing feedback and support, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Excel. The ideal candidate would have strong knowledge and proficiency in Excel, excellent communication and teaching skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. Teaching students, the basics of Excel, such as data entry, formatting, and basic formulas in Level 1. In Level 2. Successful completion will result in a certification for the student.
Specific Position Duties
- Conduct in person Microsoft Excel Level 1 & 2 training sessions, as needed to meet demands, at Gregory D Williams Hall location.
- Flexible schedule and hours.
- Sessions will be 2- or 4-hour sessions until syllabus is completed.
- Instruct and assist students in understanding Microsoft Excel Level 1 & 2 software.
- Provide support and guidance to students as they progress in their Microsoft Excel knowledge.

Work Hours
This position is part-time with max of 19 hours per week. Classes/sessions are contingent on the minimum number of students enrolled. If minimum is not met, the class is subject to cancelation.Posting Number
