Job Description
Position Summary
The Division of Career & Technical Education is recruiting for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Introduction to Computing beginning in Fall 2024. Classes will be available both online and face-to-face.
Salary Based on Instructional Units (one instructional unit is equivalent to 16 contact hours per semester).
$642.67/per instructional unit in the Fall/Spring/SummerDuties & Responsibilities
Provide instruction to students in a meaningful classroom and/or laboratory learning environment.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's Degree in Computer Science or Master's Degree in Business Administration with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline or Master's Degree with a minimum of 18 hours in any combination of qualifying fields as shown below. (unofficial transcripts are required for all graduate level work).

- Information Systems
- Management Information Systems
- Network Security
- Cybersecurity
- For applicants interested in teaching online classes, experience with Canvas is preferred.
- A demonstrated commitment to serving a diverse array of students, to the community college mission, and to academic excellence.
- College teaching experience preferred.
